The Sales & Marketing Intern supports various marketing functions, including campaign execution, content creation, event support, and analytics. Responsibilities vary and include managing social media, preparing materials, and assisting with reporting. This role requires collaboration with all departments and reports directly to the Marketing Manager. It’s an excellent opportunity for hands-on experience in a fast-paced marketing environment.

What will your role involve?

Marketing Strategy & Execution

  • Assist in strategizing, organizing, and executing marketing and advertising initiatives and activities
  • Update marketing calendar
  • Follow-up after marketing campaigns

Content Creation & Digital Marketing

  • Write copy and create graphics for ads, social media, emails, etc.
  • Create, schedule, and send email campaigns
  • Create and schedule posts on business social media pages

Event & Conference Support

  • Set-up and prepare ahead of conferences and events
  • Collaborate with outside partners to apply for and obtain external funding for select marketing initiatives

Marketing Analytics & Reporting

  • Prepare and distribute presentations and reports
  • Collect quantitative and qualitative data from marketing campaigns

Database & CRM Management

  • Manage and update company database and customer relationship management systems (CRM)
  • Pull and enrich contact lists for sales and marketing initiatives

Administrative & Cross-Department Collaboration

  • Help distribute marketing materials
  • Work collaboratively with all departments
  • Forward calls and take messages if needed
  • Support the marketing and sales departments in daily administrative tasks, occasional errands, and other duties as necessary

Education & Experience (Mandatory Requirements)

  • Some college education required; includes current students, recent graduates, or career changers.

Technical & Industry Knowledge

  • Microsoft Office proficiency
  • Competency in digital content creation tools (e.g., Adobe Suite, Canva, etc.)
