BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
(IT CONSULTING)
In a Business Development role, you will:
- Prospect for new clients and generate new revenue by selling technology-driven solutions
- Create and drive business-outcome consulting conversations with prospects and clients
- Work closely with our technical Subject Matter Experts (“SME”), who will support you in developing proposals that align with clients’ business goals
- Drive the sales process from your initial conversation, consultations, SME engagement, proposal presentations, and securing the deal
- Develop new and lasting client relationships
- Implement best practices for system security and data backups, following established industry frameworks or other standards.
- Provide operational support to clients by troubleshooting their service requests and proactively anticipating potential issues; identify and implement solutions.
- Keep detailed records of work performed in the ticketing system to support client billing and information aggregation.

- Strong IT and Executive-level leadership communication skills to create a successful end-to-end prospecting and sales process
- Experience selling into mid-market businesses (those with $10M-$500M annual revenue) or SLED agencies
- Strong practical knowledge of LinkedIn, lead generation, CRM, sales forecasting
- Knowledge of the IT industry, terminology, leading manufacturers, contracts, and pricing
- Success working collaboratively with multiple departments
- Desired: Bachelor’s degree
